Hello everyone! I hope your week (and impending holidays) are going well. It has been a busy one here at Planet X!

Shipping for An Occurrence at Howling Crater continues to roll out! Many of you have already received your copies but there are atill a few waves in the queue that have yet to be delivered. This time of year is a busy one for fulfillment companies and our partners at Flying Cloud are no exception.

I received an email from one of the shipping coordinators today with an update, so I’ll share the relevant information here with you guys:

“We are going to continue working away on all your projects, but this week we are casting a wide net to try and scratch as many backs as we can before Christmas deadlines hit. I would expect a large portion of your orders to be done by the end of this week, but there will most likely be some that carry over into next week and will fall behind the guaranteed Christmas deadline.“

So rewards are being delivered, just not as quickly and on the spot as I had hoped. Still, we are on top of it and keeping in close contact with the warehouse to make sure your rewards are coming your way! 

Before I head out, let me share a little bit of news with you guys concerning our latest project, a reverse prison-break weird fantasy adventure module called ASSAULT ON WITCHGATE 13. 

The project went live yesterday and is blowing through stretch goals quickly! This one is near and dear to my heart, penned by the talented Luau Lou Hoefer, Jeff Scifert and yours truly.  Its got fantastic art and cartography by all the Planet X regulars and is chock full of all-new, all-different material! If you’ve enjoyed our other stuff, you’re gonna love this one.

November Shipping Update!

Hello everyone!

I’ve gotten several emails from backers curious about shipping, so I reached out to the fulfilment company about backer rewards. Admittedly, I was also confused as I knew some backers had recieved rewards but others had not. The fulfillment company I use is extremely professional and very good, so I was worried something had slipped through the cracks.

They got back to me quickly and this is the email I recieved:

Hi Levi,

Big apologies for the long delay. This is a very hectic time of the year for us and we had a few other large projects arrive to us around the time that yours did that are currently ahead of you in the queue. We will continue to get orders out as we can just to show some degree of progress, but your projects will likely not start in earnest until after Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanks for your understanding.

If there are any backers in particular that you want to take care of sooner rather than later, let us know and we can prioritize getting them out.

So, it seems as if there was a bit of miscommunication between the fulfilment company and myself. Ultimately, as the project lead and publisher, the responsibility for communicating this falls on me. Even though a few backers have recieved their rewards, as you can see from the email there has been a hold up on the rest. I believe this is the source of the miscommunication and, again, this is on me.

It appears that the remainder of orders will be going out to backers after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. My apologies for the delay.

Shipping Has Begun!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to drop a quick update to let everyone know that shipping has begun for An Occurrence at Howling Crater and a few other crowdfunding items in the Planet X Games queue. I have received a few emails from backers who have said they have already received their books so as they go out in waves, keep an eye out!

Thanks again for supporting this project. Without each and every one of you guys there would be no Planet X and I wouldn't have the greatest job in the world in publishing these weird books and zines for you. You guys really are the best.

I do believe I hear those rascally crater mutants hootin' and a' hollerin' on those sawney jugs as we speak!

Backerkit, Proofs and Printing!

Hello everyone!

Just a few quick updates on An Occurrence at Howling Crater. Things are once again moving quickly!

• Most of you have filled out your Backerkit surveys (thank you) but there are still some folks who have yet to complete the survey. If you haven't filled yours out yet, please do so in order for me to get your rewards to you in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Physical proofs are incoming to Planet X HQ! As soon as I have those in hand, I'll pull the trigger and these bad boys will get printed off in shorter order. We are doing our printing through Book One again and they have always delivered timely and super-efficient service.
• PDFs were distributed in an earlier update, and you can still find them there. They are locked to appropriate pledge levels. For whatever reason, if you have issues accessing them (you shouldn't, but if you do) drop me a line at [email protected] and I'll take care of it personally. 

Thanks again for backing this mutant crazy crater crawl. Can't wait to get these books into your irradiated hands and watch the glowburn madness ensue!
