Hello everyone! 

May’s update doesnt bring much new. Our graphic designer and layout guru Tracey Steele is hard at work laying the book out and getting everything in order. She’s making great strides but we’re not quite to the finish line in that department just yet. As soon as we have something new, we’ll let you guys know ASAP. 

In the meantime, here‘s a sneak peek of some art from the book’s interior!

All Hail the Glory of the Glow!

Hello searchers into the further reaches of the great cosmic sea! Another month has come and gone and its time for a fresh update! I’ll make it quick and precise, so lets get down to it!

• All additional writing has been turned in by both Jeff and I. The full text has been compiled and edited and turned over to our graphic designer. 
• All art has been recieved and the book has officially gone into layout. The DCC version of the book looks to have nearly DOUBLE the amount of art that the precious 5E offering had. 
• Custom Howling Crater Barf Bags are here… well, at least the bags themselves are here. I’ll be spending an afternoon stamping out all these bad boys soon. They are ridiculous and bad ass all at the same time. 

• Once the graphic design has been finished, we’ll compile the PDF and get that to you first thing… then its off to the printers!

February Update! More Goo for the Clone Vats!

Hello again everyone!

I wanted to drop a quick update to let everyone know where we stand with An Occurrence at Howling Crater, compatible with DCC/MCC.

Jeff and I have added a TON of new material to the book, which is really going to make it sing for DCC/MCC fans. New magical items, technological devices, monsters, locations, NPCs... and an entire town for your PCs to start out from. There's a great AI patron write up from Jeff and some vile new crater mutants for your PCs to contend with. Its looking pretty damn sweet, truth be told.

In addition to all that new playable material, we've commissioned new art and are doing our best to absolutely pack this thing out. The original version of this adventure module was one of my favorite things to have ever written, so being able to go back and add all kinds of new details, course correct on a few things and pack it full of all kinds of new art is a dream come true.

So, we press on with our efforts into whipping this bad boy into shape. Look for another update in the coming weeks. Good things are afoot for An Occurrence at Howling Crater!

You Guys Did It... Irradiated Vittles for Errrrrbody!

You guys did it! AN OCCURRENCE AT HOWLING CRATER FOR DCC/MCC/5E has officially wrapped!

Thanks to everyone who backed this adventure module, shared the project across your socials, tweeted, retweeted, put up stories and reels and got reeeeeaaaaaaal weird with it. You guys are the real deal and I am VERY, very thankful for all of your support. Without you guys, there is no Planet X. Truly.

So, what happens now?

The great news is this monstrous mofo is already mostly written and all art is turned in. We still have a few stretch goals to chip away on in the writing department, but Jeff and I have already started putting the work in. The project did so well, I'm going to order some additional art as well, so that will make this bad boy look even better when it finally reaches your hands. After all trickles in, we move on with a rigorous editing process to make sure this bad boy has been sharpened up for use at your table. Layout follows, then PDFs and finally, off to the printer and into your hands!

Backerkit will open up in the months to come so you’ll get a chance to change/upgrade pledges, pick up some other offerings from Planet X and await THREE CURSES FOR SISTER SAREN as it makes its way to your mailbox!

As things progress, I‘ll be sure to let you guys know everything that is happening so look for some back to back updates coming soon.

Thanks again for backing this! I really think you guys will be very pleased with the final product. We had one heck of a time creating it!

Holy Cow! Its Stretch Goal Mania!

Hello everyone! Man, you guys are really bringing the proverbial radioactive heat and knocking down these stretch goals left and right. Lets do a quick summary and see what you guys have unlocked!

• $3,000 – From Whence We Came! When this stretch goal is unlocked, a full conversion and update to the nearby wilderlands settlement of Hem’s Holler will be added. This isn't just some quick write up with a few notes thrown in to fill pages - this update provides a full-spectrum rundown and description including NPCs, locations, extended adventure opportunities and new magical items for the DCC/MCC compatible ruleset.
• $4,500 – Crater Mutant Slang and Other Grievous Sayins’! Spice up your PC’s interactions with the inhabitants of Howling Crater with this handy dandy guide to crater-speak! Breathe life into these weird, twisted mutants, giving them motivations beyond just stocking the larder with tasty player character vittles!
• $5,500 - Plunder and Peril in a Land of Savagery and Super-Science!TEN all new magical items and technological devices to weird your players out with. Care to take a swig off Ole Papa Sawney’s Jug? Take your chances with the High Flyin’ Jawbone of Cutter Wotts? Smear yourself with Fetid Jelly and risk a mutation? Can you cheat time itself with a Quantum Jewel? These and more are included with this stretch goal.
• $6,500 – Hellbillies, Crater - Kin and All the Rest! You like crater mutants? Well, so do we so when this stretch goal is unlocked we’re gonna add a whole bunch more to the mix, perfect for your DCC/MCC games. Watch your PCs stain their wizard robes when they come face to face with Pig-Head or run afoul of Big Wub in his ramshackle outhouse of horrors! A whole bevy of weird and terrible foes your PCs will find hard to shake the memory of!
• $7,500 – For Want of Blood and Vengeance – the Gospel Preachins’ of Ole Obadiah Wotts. Just what is it that gets the crater mutants in and around Howling Crater so worked up? What is the Glory of the Glow? Prayers, chants and ramblins’ both great and terrible to convince your PCs that coming to this no blasted man’s land was a huuuuuuuuge mistake.
• $8,500 – For Those About to Glow, We Salute You. This stretch goal adds SIX fully fleshed out, converted, pre-generated, level-appropriate characters for use with the DCC/MCC ruleset.
• $9,500 – More Meat for the Larder. An updated and expanded An Occurrence at Howling CraterBonus Pack. This one is a real killa! This stretch goal is full of individual player handouts (digital, so you can print at home) depicting things like trappings in the crashed ship and the crater mutant settlement of Gristletown, NPCs, expanded rumors and so on.

Lots of content to love guys and this book just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Over the next few weeks and months I'll be posting previews for these in the updates so you guys can get an early sneak peek on what's comin'.
